Did you know?

  • Diabetes and high blood pressure are the two main causes of kidney disease

  • 10% of North Americans have chronic kidney disease, "CKD"

  • 25% of North Americans over the age of 65 have some form of CKD

  • only 3% of people with CKD develop kidney failure (a state that may require dialysis, transplant, or other advanced care planning)

Kidney disease is hard.  We make it easy.

Many people don't know they had kidney disease until a lab test or a provider tells them so.

Every one of our patients has the opportunity to intervene to improve their health--but it's not easy! Pills are easy to prescribe, but behavioral change is one of the most difficult things we all struggle with.

Improving one's kidney health often requires serious dietary change (low salt diet), monitoring (vital signs at home), and speaking up when you sense something (check in with us if you need anything).

We are excited to assist you in your goals and we can help you to identify, refine, and achieve them!
